FieldLynks
Industrial communications & IoT connectivity
Getting a machine, sensor or instrument to talk reliably to the rest of your systems is rarely plug-and-play. FieldLynks is our industrial-connectivity practice: we integrate plant-floor equipment over the protocols it actually speaks, and bridge it up to your web platform, app or cloud.
What we do
Most industrial devices expose a serial or fieldbus interface with a terse, unforgiving protocol. We implement and validate those protocols properly — framing, checksums, timeouts and error handling — so a link that has to run for months in a cabinet stays up.
We work across Modbus RTU/TCP, CANopen, Profibus, EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and OPC UA, plus bespoke serial protocols where a vendor has rolled their own. Where a device only offers RS232 or RS485, we handle the physical-layer bring-up and build the diagnostic tooling to prove the link before it ships.
Above the device, we connect the plant floor to where the data needs to be — gateways, and wireless links over LoRa, NB-IoT or BLE — with security designed in rather than bolted on.

Common questions
Which industrial protocols do you support?
Modbus RTU and TCP, CANopen, Profibus, EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and OPC UA as standard, plus bespoke serial protocols where a manufacturer has defined its own. If your device has a documented interface, we can usually talk to it.
Can you work with legacy RS232 / RS485 equipment?
Yes — a large share of plant-floor kit is still serial. We handle the physical-layer bring-up, implement the framing and checksums, and build tooling to log and validate every frame.
