We design and build secure, connected products — from the device to the app.
EdgeLynks bridges the physical and digital worlds. We handle the hard parts — connectivity, security and scale — so your product just works.

Services
Six connected capabilities, one accountable team
Most products break at the seams — between the board, the firmware, the cloud, the app and the manual that ships with them. We own every layer, so nothing falls through the cracks.
FieldLynks
Industrial communications — talk to plant-floor equipment and instruments over the protocols they actually speak.
- Modbus, CANopen, Profibus & OPC UA, plus bespoke serial protocols
- RS232/RS485 integration, device bring-up and diagnostic tooling
- Gateways and wireless links — LoRa, NB-IoT, BLE — from plant floor to cloud
CoreLynks
Firmware & embedded software — the code that runs on the board, written for reliability in the field.
- Bare-metal and RTOS firmware for microcontrollers
- Hardware bring-up, drivers and bootloaders
- Low-power operation, debugging and long-term field reliability
WebLynks
Web platforms & dashboards — fast, scalable interfaces that give teams real-time control.
- Modern web apps, portals & admin dashboards
- APIs, integrations and real-time data visualisation
- Built for performance, accessibility and scale
AppLynks
Cross-platform apps — mobile and desktop experiences that stay in sync with your hardware.
- iOS, Android & desktop from a single codebase
- Offline-first, real-time device control
- Clean UX backed by a secure connectivity layer
DocLynks
Technical documentation — professional product and user manuals for your hardware, written on DocLynks, the authoring platform we build and use ourselves.
- Product & user manuals written, designed and delivered print-ready
- Single-source authoring — one content pool feeds every manual and language variant
- IEC/IEEE 82079-1 structure, a safety-notice library and CE/UKCA declarations
PCBLynks
Hardware design review & PCB redesign — an independent engineering eye on your board before you commit to a fabrication run.
- Hardware design review — schematics, power, interfaces and risk areas
- PCB redesign — layout, routing and manufacturability improvements
- Practical, prioritised findings you can act on, not a box-ticking report
Our work
Products we've built
Proof of what we do, not just claims — real software in real use, from a manufacturing ERP to instrument test tooling and the tools we built to do our own work.
How we work
A clear path from idea to launch
No black boxes. Every engagement follows the same transparent, security-first process.
Discovery
We map your goals, users and constraints before writing a line of code.
Strategy
A clear scope, architecture and roadmap you can actually plan around.
Design
Interfaces and flows designed around real people, not just features.
Development
Secure, maintainable builds delivered in reviewable increments.
Security & QA
Testing, hardening and review baked in — not bolted on at the end.
Deployment
Smooth launch with monitoring, documentation and handover.
Optimisation
We measure, iterate and keep improving after go-live.
About
A studio built to close the gap between hardware and software
EdgeLynks was founded in 2026 on a simple observation: the hardest, most expensive bugs live in the seams — where a device meets the cloud, and the cloud meets the user. Too many teams stitch those layers together from separate vendors and hope they hold.
We do it differently. We take ownership of the whole chain, treat security as a first-class requirement, and ship products that are as reliable in the field as they are in the demo.
Security by default
Encryption, authentication and secure updates are designed in from day one — never patched in later.
Full-stack, literally
From firmware and connectivity to cloud and app, one team is accountable for the whole product.
Human-centred
Technology should disappear behind a clear, effortless experience for the people using it.
