DocLynks is our technical-writing practice for hardware products: professional, print-ready product and user manuals — authored on DocLynks, the single-source publishing platform we build and use ourselves.
What we do
We write and produce the manuals that ship with a product — installation, operation, safety and maintenance — structured to the IEC/IEEE 82079-1 standard rather than assembled ad-hoc in a word processor.
Because we author on our own single-source platform, a specification value or a safety notice is written once and referenced everywhere — so a manual can't quietly contradict the product or another manual, and a changed rating updates every document that uses it.
The output is a versioned, print-ready PDF per language, with CE/UKCA Declarations of Conformity generated from the same product data. We can also start from your existing .docx manuals.

Do you write the manuals, or just sell the tool?
Both. We write and deliver manuals as a service on the DocLynks platform, and we license the tool to manufacturers who want to bring authoring in-house.
Can you standardise our existing manuals?
Yes. We import existing .docx manuals, restructure them into single-source topics, and flag anything that was inferred and needs an author's review.
